Eternal Life Together

As we kissed maybe,
for the last time,
and stare into,
each other’s eyes,
a vista of moonlit walks,
up wondrous mountains,
of orange red clouds,
that drifted over us,
our morning risings,
of days we froliced,
on layered sliver strands,
of golden wedding peaks,
about to reach their acme?
unfolded as we drift,
into each other’s arms,
as we now cuddled,
our eyes do reveal,
the many, many  journeys,
we had gladly shared,
as we look longingly,
at each other in admiration,
a fascinating lifetime,
between two people,
of rich oceanic sweep,
all this and more unfurl,
as we once again laugh,
with only hours left,
but fingers crossed,
we’ll live this dream forever
