Inhale Amusing Tonic

Rebuff city rapture at one’s peril,
pearls dormant in each boulevard loiter,
be vigilant and willowy watchful,
voice in transcendent tongue alluring  this dawn,
perennial  stanza mold sublime endemic
pettifog, hairsplitting, pointless bicker,
from clustered academia now another fiasco,
in our street shrewd midst  we relish every bell clang,
whose sound induces ricochet of guffaws,
they spread eagle Everest  chain o’er crowded plaza,
but weightiness is now arch brisk stirring drum roll,
an epic auspicious ensemble  catchment tutored,
denim clad  validation mesmerizer mere street beacon,
whose prime function is urban verve entrapment,
yet  has this apt moiety to whet and uplift,
this appetite known for fine diverse charm,
this comet of twang etch born and bred,
with garb colours emblem on queue schism,
they babble ethnic doggerel as proud antic,
in villanelle, lyric, ode form, chosen medium,
to dip devilishly into when poetically divined,
are these city hectic myths a bogus fabric,
a shape throwing conjuror on brash platform,
at an atmospheric on site grasp,
abstruse mesh on mesh inklings protrude,
whether they are cogent  in our midst,
in that  ethereal mist red moon garland,
overthinking sign of overwrought mind,
little fracas when least wanted is wanton,
a wanting filled by impromptu  caper,
while uniform in bright resolve too seek mirth,
inhale amusing tonic where dream future
which is  the jump to  present’ moment,
a rudderless concoction turned hilarious,
comfort spot cascade erect and stoic,
enjoyment never  blind point ephemeral,
overused trite trivial trending topic,
slants so casual as to invite disdain,
since when did scorn or rebuke block,
pathway on convenient aspect an authority,
imposed and so imposing when nearby,
