Love in the Rain

My dearest “Pita Pata” what exactly is it you seek?
When I unclothe myself your tiny droplets,
Like heaven and shallows to me it speaks.

I find myself so unaware,
traversing through the storms you’ve so eagerly sent.
But little did I know that those storms,
Were the tiny little droplets of love,
you’d always wished to send.

So dancing in the rain,
is where you ought to find me.
Not in the arms of men who know not my desires.
But underneath the caress of soft “Pita Pata’s”

They stroke so neatly,
the inner child I’ve neglected.
Because it was through life’s storms and uncertain quests,
that I learnt in every "Pita Pata",
Was not just a part of myself,
But a place in which I fell in love with the rain.
The place where the Pita Pata’s turned to joy, my pain.
