Nāve
She took it upon her mystic self
To do the job of pain
To make me want what I once had
by taking it away
Like softest bones, the whitest clothes
on a skin so pale
always close though never here
she seemed so far away
I said to you, to our young self
that I shall ever stay,
that muddy earth and rugged dirt
shall not take me away
And now those blue eyes stare at me
So I just look away
But there she is, and her light lips
So bright I had to stay
Lord forgive me, for I have sinned
my heart is full of pain
the beauty of her gorgeous self,
she took my soul away
Please my darling do not weep
as I am full of grief
The hand of hers took me away
so I could not stay
I did not mean to make a sin
yet that is what I made
away she took, your face and look
a fool who took the bait
Please, I beg for you to say
"Such a fool you were,
to take my love away for far,
solitary world"
Don't just sob in the corner
of your precious face
Away, or here my heart is near
always to your fear
Still you are my only one,
I have to go away
She will watch me when I sleep
with her pure white gaze
