Her ears burn
Those five letters always make her stomach churn.
But nobody was ever too concerned.
It’s as if our history is torn
and lost in worn books
We took our pride
I hope you got a good look
we’ve unhooked from our culture
                                                   and hit the point of no return.
Our society has burned.
