a poem for curiosity
a poem for curiosity
when we were dating
you would send notes constantly
about your life and work
i pored over every single entry
that was a long time ago
you are resting now
no movement for decades
your radioactive heart is nearly still
your life is well-nigh spent
but if we listen and wait
and wait
you might randomly emit a particle
which we will interpret
as a love note
