SELFLESS (inspired by the novel 'The Notebook')
I'll live for you, I'll live with you
Darling, I'm selfless without you
My mind will wander across unmeasured boundaries
My heart will race the streaks of heaven
To find you, thoughts that are permanent
And they destroy, yet they comfort
A soul whose life is like a poem
Beautiful words, underneath lies a more beautiful being
And the journeys my mind take during the nights
The days, for my dreams are constant
Locks me in a prison of you
A prison worse than death
A prison I enjoy
You were the key, you are the key
White roses bloom from my heart
And though I'm selfless again, I'm fulfilled rather
You've opened my eyes, time itself locks away our memories
Two lovers? Two addicts for each other?
Maybe shooting stars will bring the answer?
Or the depths of the ocean will reveal it as a mysterious being still unknown to the world?
My heart has loved
My heart has died
My eyes have seen, and also have gone blind
But you'll never change
And will always render me selfless without you
