Sleep Eating

You used to eat 8 spiders

while you slept, over a lifetime

Maybe folks think about arachnids

then put 8 and 8 together

Now I hear we may eat 3 to 8

although some say dozens

Living in basement apartments you learn

to live among the many-legged world

Proximity yields belief

I may be eating beyond average
