Snow's Reflection
Snow falling softly.
It's beautiful and ice cold.
A girl watches it.
Fragmented pieces.
Its beauty lifts its burden,
Melts at human touch.
Quiet, peaceful, calm.
Wind stirs it into a storm,
Its nature is peace.
The snow is lonely
But it relects other's light,
Makes a dark day bright.
One flake is like ice.
Cold to the core; unfeeling.
But packed around, warm.
A girl watches snow.
It's beautiful and ice cold.
Then she looks closer.
In truth, it's broken.
Peace, warm, melting, reflecting.
Snow, misunderstood.
The snow watches back,
Smiling, waiting, in a mirror,
The girl finds herself.
