Time to set it right

I’ve seen a dog with a blue coat and
Cat with a pink ribbon
And a homeless shuddering on a cold wintery night.

I’ve seen a pretty face with crimson lipstick and
A dark face with a truckload of talcum powder 
And miss inner beauty is waiting at the bank of the river.

I’ve seen beautiful faces with mind numbing content and
Stupid poems winning stupid contests
And a masterpiece waiting all day for a single like.

Then Dalai Lama told me,
This is how the world works, life sucks
But you got a chance to set it right.
