Walk in the Park
The flowers shrug at me
And the leaves whisper
Like the girls in gym class
Sunlight peeks through
Spotlights my flaws
Not enough shadow to
Prevent its tanning judgement
The wind picks up but its humid
Breath only mocks me frizzes my hair
Pretending it’s an accident
Pebbles scattered on the sidewalk
Display their indifferences
By mistake I make eye contact
With a Labrador pooping
Awkward in its stance
I’m not sure who turns away
More ashamed
