Deeply dark God's secret dwells

Deeply dark God's secret dwells,
Vainly Saint and Psalmist sing;—
All the heavens, all the hells,
Are of Man's imagining.

Man, who walks in unknown ways,
Blind beneath the singing skies;
Man, who sucks the dug-drawn days
Dry of Demons, Deities.
