Jesus never fails God's children
As we journey on life's way,
Though sometimes the road seems rugged,
And sometimes dark seems the day.

Satan is allowed to tempt us
Till it seems that we may fall,
But the Master's ever near us
And will hear the faintest call.

Jesus guards and guides us onward
Calmly by the waters still,
Or along the thorny pathway,
Leading higher up the hill.

Blessed be the name of Jesus;
Let us sing His praises true;
For He dearly loves His children
And will lead them safely through.
