Hail Mary!

Hail Mary!
Ich am sary;
Haf pité of me and mercy.
My levedy;
To thee I cry.
For my sinnes dred am I,
When I thenk that I shal by
That I haf mis y-don
In word, in work, in thoght foly.
Levedy, her my bon.

My bon thou her,
Levedy der,
That ich ask with rewful cher.
Thou len me her,
Whil ich am fer,
Do penànce in my prayèr;
Ne let me noght ler that thou ber
At min ending-day;
The warlais thay wil be her
For to take thair pray.

To take thair pray,
As I her say,
Thay ar redy both night and day.
So stronge ar thay
That we ne may
Againes thaim stand—so way-la-way!—
But if thou help us, mightful may,
With thy Sones grace.
When thou comes, thay flit away,
Dar thay not see thy face.

Thy face to see
Thou grant it me,
Levdy fulfilled of pité;
That I may be
In joy with thee
To see thy Son in Trinité,
That suffered pine and ded for me
And for al man-kin.
His flesh was spred on roode-tree
To leys us al of sin.

Of sin and care
He maked us bare,
When He tholed pines sare.
To droupe and dare
We aghte wel mare,
As for the houndes doth the hare,
When we thenk how we shal fare
When He shal deem us all;
We shal haf need thare
Upon Mary to call.
