How doe I find my soules extreamest anguish

How doe I find my soules extreamest anguish
With restles care my harts eternall languish?
Torments in lyfe increasing still with anguish,
Unquiet sleepes which breed my sences languish.

Hope yett appeares which somwhat helpes my anguish
And lends a sparcke of lyfe to salve this languish
Breath to desire, and ease to forgon anguish,
Baulmes butt nott cures to bitter tasting languish.

Yett strait I feele hope proves butt greater anguish
Faulse in ittself to mee brings cruell languish.
Could I nott hope, I suffer might my anguish
At least with lesser torture smart and languish.

For rebell hope I see thy smiles are anguish,
Both Prince, and subject, of e'relasting languish.
