Meet your Saviour in the morning
In the secret place of prayer,
And obtain the strength and courage
You shall need for ev'ry care.
Meet your loved ones and your neighbors,
Meet your friends and meet your foes;
Meet the sinners and the Christians
With sweet peace that overflows.

Meet your trials and your problems,
Meet your heartaches and your sighs;
Meet your many disappointments,
And whatever sorely tries,
With a heart of love and kindness
And with faith that reaches God,
Knowing that His hand will lead you
Up the way that saints have trod.
