Dear Redeemer

Thou dear Redeemer, dying Lamb,
I love to hear of thee;
No music like thy charming name,
Nor half so sweet can be,
My Jesus dear shall be my theme,
While in this world I stay;
I'll sing my Saviour's lovely name,
When all things else decay,
When all things else decay,
I will live in thy service,
Oh, thou tell, ... thy mercies o'er,
Ever more ... ever more ...
When I appear in yonder cloud,
With all thy favored throng,
Then will I sing more sweet and loud,
And Christ shall be my song,
And Christ shall be my song.
blessed dying Lamb,
I will tell thy mercies o'er and o'er,
And my soul shall rejoice to sing the honor of thy name,
Evermore blest Redeemer, ever, evermore.
