When Beaumont's judgment guided Fletcher's wit,
Each was by turns the Hero of the Pit:
The one had credit for the rules of art;
The other claim'd the passions and the heart .
But no divided claim the conflict urges,
In Sternhold, Hopkins, Cumberland , and Burges .
