Toward Dasain

This goat is eating
special grass.
In our homes we have
a different grain,
thorns, thorns!
He's black, white is our color,
through and through.
What a fat, sex-driven beast it is,
roving free.
Dasain will come!
he the sacrifice,
for us a festival —
how far off can it be?
