Carmina - Part 15

I entrust my all to you, Aurelius,
And I ask this modest favour in return:
If ever you have wished to keep something pure
Then guard this darling of my heart from danger.
I don't mean protect him from the common herd
Who wander through the streets involved in themselves,
But save him rather from your own great penis
Which is lethal to any boy, good or bad.
You can display yourself wherever you please
And indulge your lust whenever you want to.
I only ask this modest request: spare him .
But if you commit that most heinous of crimes,
Then I pity the lust that drives you to it,
For I'll fetter your feet and shove through the gate
Of your arse radishes and the fins of mullet,
Punishing you like a common adulterer.
