64 The Priveledges, & Hapinese of Beleevers -
The priveledges, & hapinese of beleevers.
Each sainct, is a victorious king
already, in his head
They may with triumph, goe, & sing,
into the grave, ther bed
They ar the Children, of ther god
he will not, them disown
But will be their eternall lot
when time, and days, ar done
Each sainct, is heir to a crown
that fadeth not away
A crown of glory, and renown
that never, shall decay
Each sainct's a member, unto Christ
who is, ther glorious head
One cant be lost, soe strongly ty'd
and firmly, united
They ar not only kings, but preists
and dayly they doe offer
Ther praises, and perfum'd, requests
unto ther god, and father
All things ar theirs, both things present
and alsoe, things to come
Both life, and death, by covenant
and purchase, of the Son
They ar gods Jewels, keept safly
however here abhor'd
They shall shine forth, with majesty
in the superior orb
Ther's is the good, of providence
and projects, that ar lain
Gods wisdome, and omnipotence
turns each thing, to their gain
They ar a royall diadem
in the hand, of their god
They'r in his Crown a sparkling gem
and his peculiall, lot
They ar, the aple of his eye
tender, and delicate
& When afflictions on them lyes,
he doth comisarate.
Each sainct's a temple, for the spirit
with them hes pleas'd to dwell
In them, he doth sweetly inhabit
& makes ther Joys to swell
They ar a garden, of delight
soe hedg'd, by providence
That neither mans, nor devils spight
can come, to break the fence
Ther names ar written on Christs hart
they cannot, be forgot
They'r his by compact on each part
hells rage, cant break this knot
Hee hath stil'd them, his brethren
a brother, neer of kin
Hee took ther flesh, that he for them
might bear the weight of sin
They ar a noble, and free state
redeem'd from slaviry
Their freedome, bought at no meane rate
the bloud, of the most high
The blessed angels, them attend
whilst they ar in there way
And when their days, ar att an end
they them to rest, convey
Then now may we make, holy boasts
breaking forth into joy
Our God, he is the God of hosts
what then can us anoy
He is a God, omnipotent
a God, mighty to save
Tis he that makes, the rocks to rent
and stilleth the proud wave
This God, he is our god, for ever
till death, he'l be our giude
Nothing from us, his love can sever
or us, from him devide
Under our feet, he will tread down
each, hatfull enemy
And on our heads, hee'l set the crown
of joyfull victory
Each sainct, is a victorious king
