III.

But Lo!
Who's this does now appear?
No Phœbus! Mars! or Pan!
A more substantial Pow'r is here,
A wond'rous God-like Man.
No angry Cloud his Visage wears,
No Terror on his Brow appears,
But charming Goodness in his Looks doth shine,
And every Accent seems divine.
Let After-ages then this Wonder tell,
That far as Hero's vulgar Men surpass,
So far this one doth all the rest excel.
Farewel!
I can't inform thee, whats his Due,
But sure no vulgar Off'ring must be made by you.
