Sing of His Glory

Hallelujah, Christ is risen,
To the world the news proclaim!
Over death he rose victorious,
Glory, glory to his name!
Angels rolled the stone asunder,
And he forth a victor came
See the tomb wherein they laid him;
Lo! an angel standing near!
Hear the glorious tidings spoken,
" Lo, thy Master is not here! "
" He is risen! " is the story
Ev'rywhere that greets the ear
To the faithful he appeareth,
Talking with them on the way;
In the chamber now behold him —
Doubting Thomas, see, obey!
Heaven opens to receive him, —
Glory to his name for aye!

Hallelujah! sing of his glory!
He arose for sinners to plead;
Sing his pow'r, his love, and greatness,
Sing, for he is ris'n indeed.
