Optimus Thesaurus Coelestis

Optimus Thesaurus Caelestis

The Covetous seek Riches, To that Man
Struggles with peril on the Ocean
Desier of Gould is sacred, and doth bring
Both Sayles and Tackle to th'winds whisteling
Soe goes the world: but why? when Heavn hath store
Of Riches ought to be desird much more;
Ther's Heavnly Faith and Hope and Love which three
Resemblance make unto the Deity,
These though with noe small Labour got and care
Tullus and Ancus but poor fellows are
For Those are gon: whilst heavnly clouds deny
That Treasure Layd up ther should ever die.
