I dreamed of you by the river, I dreamed of you by the lake,
My nights turned into daytime as I lay in bed awake,
I saw your face near mine,
My voice couldn’t speak a world,
I wished your voice would silently say “I love you.”
but your image flew away like a bird,
Your arms I could feel around me,
I knew it was your embrace,
I wished only that you could be here in this place.
