Excuse me, mister
Have you seen this girl?
She's got a smile as bright as day
I seem to have lost her somewhere along the way

Excuse me, kind stranger
Have you seen her around?
I'm sure she's here somewhere
Just waiting to be found

Excuse me, pardon me
Please, sir, can't you see?
That finding this lost girl
Would mean so much to me

She's got a grip on life
And strong as one can be
She's memorized each line
And knows how to succeed

She's motivated, has a purpose
She knows just what to do
She has the time for hobbies
Just as one should too

Excuse me, young sir
Have you seen this lass?
Well rounded, firmly grounded
I couldn't help but ask

Pardon my insistence
I simply have to know
If you have caught sight
Even just a glimpse or so

There, can't you hear?
She's calling out to me
But I can't seem to find her
I’ve been searching far and wide

Too long since I've lost sight of her
I really should have realized sooner
But as it happens, she's now lost
And so I ask you again, dear sir

She's full of mirth and laughter
Has a mind filled with so much wonder

Excuse me, kind stranger
Have you seen her around?
I'm worried about her
And she’s yet to be found
