The River's Body

My body resembles the earth
in the most beautiful ways possible
From the tip of my fingers
to the tip of my toes
my Body works like that of a River
Always flowing in the same direction
but everyday it does so in a different speed
and with a different object flowing on its surface
once again another hardship.

That is why we are so alike
both the river and I can be agressive,be calm
and peace may be all we seek
Or we can simply work by default
so not one realises something is off.

Rarely does the river freeze
and when it does its surface becomes a front
frozen in time,a cover
one that if cracked shall be proven dangerous. 

If it stays intact
it will mirror the bright blue sky
or the starry dark nightsky
and still underneath the beauty
runs a powerfull body of water
so cold able to hurt and kill
Do not be fooled by the appearance
the River's Body can both hurt and get hurt
and so can mine.
