Everything Converges

Everything converges

Like an avalanche in flames

I’m bound by tangled wires

And off center to the frame

 

Awash in new familiars 

I’m drowning in the days

The lifeboat’s wild and drifting

And I grip against the strain

 

Everywhere I look

Brings me right back to the start

So I roll another snowball

And I light another spark
