What more is it gonna take?
Another day, another crazed gun man
Fucked up times we are living in
Freaks and insanity roam the streets free to do as they please
Let me tell you, I’m getting sick of government and police not doing their best to protect us
Every time I turn on the news why must there be more blood and more bodies?

How can we be so blind and dumb to what is happening all around us?
One is always more of a nightmare than the next
Understanding and a way to stop the madness slips right through our fingers
Slaughter of the innocent becomes the order up of the day
Every damned day another of us is damned and to me that is just not fair!

More and more we see it in the news today
Another looney tune with a gun on a mission of insanity
So much confusion
So much blood and death
Ain’t it all just too much?
Can’t we try better to stop it before it happens?
Right from wrong has got to be taught better or else all ours will wind up as the sick freaks or the victims
Everybody, you know I’m right
