One Lonely Poem
Among all the pulsing waves that pull us about and around again,
I would pull the wave and push it back out
to help you find a lonely friend...
And like I've said before
(only to myself)
I will take you and stitch you up,
never to be alone again.
Because...
You all look like children! Little bodies keeping warm.
If only I could pull you close, warm you within my bones.
Every time you all float on through,
like my own ghostly breeze,
tasting every tip of the room
like my own personal disease,
I think.
When I lift the weight of the clouds and the thick
black
air
And I peek beneath the cracks that we already know are there;
We are one.
I am me, and we
are alone
