Papa's Message
It was during my first year on planet Earth,
I was lying awake on my blanket bed
when papa lifted me high above his head
and with all manner of seriousness said,
"This is a cruel world where faggots dwell,
work hard and win the fight or get the coward's spell.
When you make it, don't waste it on what harlots sell,
though no one cares about it like the tales parrots tell.
People die and more are born but stay alive.
You must be greater than me, we shouldn't have our pay alike.
Hustle while you're young, day and night.
And help the helpless, my son, save a life.
Don't forget your roots, don't forget your father.
Treat her like a goddess, shower love on mama.
Both our blessings will help climb success' ladder.
It's undefeatable, so make peace with karma.
Don't hold unto your past, you can never keep it,
rather focus on your obstacles, you can never skip it.
Don't be foolish and lured to crime for biscuits
or you'll end up with disgrace, dishonor and their brother death comes quickly.
Remain trustworthy, let honor be your delicacy.
We'll all die someday so be sure to leave a legacy"
I remember that now and so deliberately,
I allow humility lead me to supremacy.
