Seeing Clearly

I don't wear my glasses anymore
Because I don't see the beauty in things anymore
I don't wear my glasses anymore
Because why would I want to see the ugly clearly

I don't wear my glasses anymore
Because without them things are softer
Softer around the edges
And the edges of reality are quite too harsh already

I don't wear my glasses anymore
Because far away things are blurry
I don't mind not seeing what is ahead of me
Because I don't plan on my future anyway

I don't wear my glasses anymore
Because without them, life is soft and blurry like a Monet
I don't wear my glasses anymore
Because I don't care to see
