On his lonely bed
Lies his weary head
With a pillow between his ties
As he sleeps through the night
Deep in his sleep
In his beautiful dreams
An irritating alarm rings
To end his peaceful sleep
He wakes slightly numbed
Yawns to the world
As if to announce his hunger
But no one brings him tea
He eat through his misery
Tea and biscuits, what else had he?
Picks up his bags to leave
He could not hear a goodbye
Through his ride in the cab
He looks at the girl in the backseat
If only he could have her number
If only he had a better morning
Through his day and work
Having a usual day, so boring
He wished he had a life so blissful
A girlish smile could solve his problem
In the evening he wonders
About the town in silence
Wishing he had a partner
Hoping he would find one
Exhausted from his walk
He retires to his bed
Thinking of the cab girl
And sleep that night so late
Oh Mr bachelor
Have you had it so tough?
