A season of Winter
Not in ice, or sleet, or snow,
But as nature rests in Winter-
The only growth shown in the depth of roots
Bulding a foundation
Drawing warmth from a molten core
Buds prepare to spring forth as frost melts
But for now, they rest.
Not in sleep, but quiet growth.
