Member Poem

Passing cars drone on,
sound the jarring horn,
trope in bundles from,
where I look fixedly,
transfixed or transported,
a noonday bell clanging,
recess, entr’acte, pause,
break between "school" class,
for a mission in phase,
inchoate, blurred, vague,
despite the stilted hubbub,
a shroud of stern silence,
internalised and psychic,
at assured  midpoint implicit,
no return symbolic crossing,
mirror on clamped expression,
latent loiter in lilac haze,
signpost chimera or catalyst,
I wonder should I wander,
cyclic roads that sprawl into,
cyclic roads that sprawl,
for miles around
