Throughout all time (both past and yet to come),
The earth has sung the same old lover’s tune.
A Pyramus and Thisbe tale: succumb
To bloody death due to a lover’s swoon.
They swear to bear all death, all tears and rips–
And all for you, for who does not desire
A corpse with three used words upon it’s lips?
Is love unique to situations dire?
How loved I feel with love six feet below!
I beg of you, just give your heart to me
Before it ceases beating! Stay and show
You love alive as well, and hear my plea!
Here lies the true and lovely show of strife:
To keep your love and also keep your life.
