Though Masclion lifts a monstrous tree
And struts about quite gaily,
'Tis nothing to the feat I see
My Stella doing daily.

Can Ninus lift six boys or eight
When all his might he uses?
Why, Stella's finger bears the weight
Of Pallas and the Muses!
