Classic Poem

He sang: “O flame, O life!
O universe that is fire from end to end,
And one fire opens into another,
And I am a flame singing in the glory …

My revelation has come to me, and truth is upon me …
I shall carry God to the ends of the Earth …
Now I shall raise the multitudes with news of heaven.”

And he went down to the sleepers,
And they awoke and saw that he was one purified,
And that he was love.

And that morning he spoke the prayer before them,
And he was the first among them to sing in the morning:
“The pure shall conquer heaven!”
