71 Perticular Meditations. June 24 73 -
June 23 73 Satens spight.
Oh why am I
Soe frequently
Foyld, by temptation small
wilt thou stand by
and yet deny
To help, me when I call
No cause, to boast
when I have most
For then be sure, I meet
with Satens spight
to's unmost might
for to ensnare, my feett
I will aspire
and doe desire
Much of thee, to enjoy
But still I find
when thou'rt most kind
That saten will anoy
When grace is clear
and doth apear
In brightest, evedence
That to be sure
he cant endure
But with all diligence
He'l make us blot
and soe, bespot
Our evedence, that we
May'nt have a sight
Of what.s our right
through grace, and mercy, free
Oh now step in
my god, and king
And bind up saten, in thy chaine
that he no more, / may rob the store
That thou shalt give to me again
The god of peace
shall make to cease
His rage. when he sees meet
remember Lord
thy faithfull word
And tread him, under feet
His rage though great
doe thou defeat.
And bring much good to me
that I, always
may sing, the praise
of grace, and love soe free
