Against Dacus the polt Poet.

D ACUS keepes company and they keepe him;
And yet he scornes to bee so kept by any:
But each where he in Helicon doth swim,
And for that floud he cannot pay a peny:
 For when the reckning's giu'n, and he would say
 Here's mine; that floud doth carry mine away:
 So when the shott's requir'd, he (out of season)
 Reads currant rimes, but giues none other reason
