One’s nerves can strike fear
I freeze in that jail
court ruling from hell
The simplest of sounds
set off the alarm
angst my fixed abode
Nerves can wreak havoc
a rat ridden jail
court sentence from hell
the simplest of sounds
set off an alarm
dread is my station
Nerves can play havoc
worst type of prison
one’s life is a hell
just the simplest thing
sets off an alarm
slave in iron chains
All it takes is one
hard glance, smirk, tone, laugh
to strike terror in
the shy and timid
around each corner
danger rears its head
