The Battle of Dunbar

The foot-folk
Put the Scottes in the polk
And nackened their nages.
By waye
Herd I never saye
Of prester pages
To pike
The robes of the rike
That in the feeld felle.
They token ay tulk
The rough raggy skulk,
Rughin in helle . . . .

For Scottes
Telle I for sottes
And wreches unwar,
Unsele
Dintes to dele,
Them drow to Dumbar!
