Classic poem of the day
He has on
an old light grey Fedora
She a black beret
He a dirty sweater
She an old blue coat
that fits her tight
Grey flapping pants
Red skirt and
broken down black pumps
Fat Lost Ambling
nowhere through
the upper town they kick
their way through
heaps of
fallen maple leaves
still green — and
crisp as dollar bills
Nothing to do. Hot cha!
Member poem of the day
You’ve been crowned and given your cape
You always knew your destiny
Time to make your escape
Wherever you wanna go
Whomever ever you wanna be
Your ancestors have paid for your freedom
You only need to follow their lead
Your Crown is filled with priceless jewels
Your soul, so sweet and savory Is your only fuel
Your freedom has been paid for
It is time to fly free
