Christ's Person

For beauty there is none like him,
For strength there is none so strong,
His presence drives sin out of us,
And turns our grief to song.

For love, who can with him compare
With the great love he has shown?
He laid aside his royal crown
And descended from his throne.

He came to earth, He bled and died
On rugged Calvarys tree,
He took the contract, paid the price
With His blood and made us free.
