Sonnet: She is Fair and Verteous

Why is sleaved Silk soe hard
 Or Jett smutch't or Ivory
 But because they are compard
To Her Hayre, her browe, her eye,
And on her lipps Currall doth leese its die.

Why should Snow be grown soe black
Roses soe pale but to see
That they those perfections lack
Which on her cheakes mingled be
Her Brests make wallnutts wear their tiffany.

Why is Delia in one year
Twelve times fatt and leanr to show
 That inconstancy bides thear
 And it's contrary below
For wher She is thear will perfections flow.
