Complaynt of His Ladies Sicknesse. Sonet 5 -

Sonet 5.

Vnciuill Sicknesse hast thow no regard
But dost presume my dearest to molest
And withoute leaue dar'st enter in that breast
Whereto sweet loue aproach yet neuer dar'd.

Spare thow her health which my life neuer spar'd
To bitter such revenge of myne vnrest
Although with wrongs my thoughts she hath opprest
My thoughts seeke not revenge but craue rewarde.

Cease sicknesse cease in her for to remayne
And come and welcome harboure thow in me
Whome loue long since hath taught to suffer payne.

So she which hath so oft my paynes increast
(O God if I might so rewarded be)
By my more payne should haue her payne releast.
