All her glad path along:
Hand and heart together,
Come while yet you may;
In the sunny weather
Walk the happy way;
Let none delay, let none delay;
Love is only for a day.

All her sad path along:
Yet a little wander
Down the happy way;
In the shadow, yonder,
Waits the spectre gray;
