It is coming! it is coming!
And the day is drawing near,
When the kingdom of the Saviour
Will at last on earth appear.
It is coming! it is coming!
And the truth of God shall win,
And the day of judgment follow
In the wake of wrong and sin.

Oh, ye weary, watch and wait!
Hear ye not the Master's footsteps
Coming in the open gate
It is coming! it is coming!
Coming nearer ev'ry day,
Only heed the blessed Master,
Never cease to watch and pray.
