The Door of God's Mercy

The door of God's mercy is open today;
Will you come in, will you come in?
Tho' strait be the gate, and narrow the way,
There's infinite wideness within.
Then hasten, O sinner, while Jesus is calling, " come in, " ...
Still waiting and pleading,
And tenderly calling, " come in "
The door of God's mercy is open today;
Will you come in, will you come in?
And Jesus stands waiting, why will you delay
To choose that blest portion within?
Still pleading and waiting, has waited so long;
Will you come in, will you come in?
His spirit has called you in sermon and song,
To leave the low service of sin.
Oh, why not accept his salvation just now?
Will you come in, will you come in?
Oh, hasten and come, at his feet lowly bow,
And turn from the broad road of sin.
Then hasten, O sinner, while Jesus is calling, come in,
Still waiting and pleading, still waiting and pleading.
