The Dreamer

Chide not the Dreamer, but more wisely hold
His dreams more precious than refined gold.
Had men not dreamed of greater things to be,
Then lesser things on every side we'd see.

The fancies of the bygone centuries
Are counted 'mongst to-day's realities
And form the firm foundation on which Youth
Doth surer rear the edifice of Truth!
